Presenter: Hi there and welcome to the Jonathan Ross show. Tonight we introducing a new name to the limelight, the new number one band, Plan X. Give them a round of applause everyone.
Audience: (Applause, whistle)
Presenter: Now, this new band have only been recognised in the music world for the past month or so when their single 'Saint Era' became number one on iTunes last week. I think we need to get them out here, don't you think? OK ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Plan X!
Audience: (Applause)
(Plan X, Daisy and Jack walk on to stage and sit down on the sofa.)
Presenter: So welcome...
Daisy: Thank you very much, its nice to be here.
Presenter: Is this your first show that you have been on since the release of your album?
Jack: Yes it is! You should feel very privildged!
Presenter: Yeah, yeah ok... (laugh from audience) So tell us, for people who don't no, what is you album called?
Daisy: The album is called 'After night.'
Presenter: Did you come up with that yourselves?
Daisy: Well it was our producer, but we agreed with it.
Presenter: So 'After night', is there any reason why its called that?
Jack: Well me and Daisy sat for a few days with the editor and the first idea she showed us we loved. Basically, obviously our name is PLAN X. They used the 'X' within out name as a Roman numeral for 10- that's where the name 'after dark' came from. for those who have already bought our CD, the whole case is based on black and white, and that to represent the 'after dark' 'after 10' sort of thing. If anyone has seen our music video or advertisement you will recognise the clock, which just links back to our name and album really. Its pretty cool...
Presenter: Wow that is creative, but you mentioned your music video? Tell us more about that...
Daisy: Well, its concept-based....
Jack: Me and Daisy both feature in it. The producers originally thought a narrative video would be best and we were prepped for that. But due to the recent weather, filming was put on hold and as a result some of our extras couldn't make it.
Daisy: Our video was reintroduced as a concept based and we are both really happy with the results.
Jack: Whats more, it was fun! We had a mixture of indoor and outdoor scenes. The outdoor scenes were the most challenging due to the light. The producers needed the sun to start going down, but that only gave us 40 minutes each day before it was completely black! We did have special equipment but that we used a lot but sometimes the producers just wanted natural lighting.
Presenter: Thats interesting, do you think your target market will be intersted in your concept-based video?
Jack: Our producers did loads of research bofore, and our target market seemed to like the 'randomnes of it!
Presenter: Haha, ok, well I think we need to watch this for ourselves, don't you agree?...
